Northern Majorette Association was formed in October 2006 by Donna Broadbent & Tracey Conway. In 2008 Tracey stepped down do to work committments.
The association is now run by Donna Broadbent, Steph Sheerwood and regular meetings are held with the Troupe Leaders of each majorette troupe within the NMA
There are many reasons we decided to set up an association, but the main one being dancers within our own troupes.
The purpose of the association is to benefit troupes around the country to enjoy competitions, with a realxed, friendly, supportive atmosphere, as well as encouraging majorettes/dancers to perform infront of crowds, doing something they enjoy and love.
The association will hold competitions this season at Havercroft Sports Centre. The last competition will be the Finals.
How to join?
Any Majorette or Cheerleading troupe can join the association, we will supply a rule book to each troupe that joins, along with the relevant paperwork that is needed.
All troupes that join will need to hand in a copy of their own insurance to the association.
For more information on joining the association, please email us on northernmajoretteassociation@hotmail.co.uk
