Membership fee is £30.00 per Troupe for the Season of 2008.
Spectators are to pay £1.00 entry fees on competition days (dancers are the only people who are not to pay this).
Section monies (£10 per section) are to be paid in advance of competitions. All troupes will then recieve a running order prior to comps. Any troupes pulling out of sections must do at the beginning of the comp, however monies paid will be non-refundable.
Troupes are to attend 1 hour prior to competition starting time and leave no earlier half hour after the comp is complete. All troupes are to help remove rubbish and tidy away chairs.
Times are as follows: Novice = 3-5 mins, Dinkies = 4-6 mins, Tinies = 5-7 mins, Juniors = 6-8 mins, Seniors = 8-10 mins, Combination = 10-15 mins and Adults routine = 3-5 mins.
Timing will start once the Leader starts and stops the troupe. The Leader must dismiss the troupe at the end of each section danced, so the time-keeper knows when to stop timing.
All Leaders and Mascots must be identified by an arm band or sash, if the Leader and/or Mascot is not clearly identified, they will not be marked as the said person.
There will be no Mascot solo at the end of the routine. (Althought you have Leaders and Mascots its important the performance is a troupe one not an solo or duet throughout).
Leaders can only dance one section as a Leader - for example - if you have a dancer who is Junior baton Leader they can not dance any other Leader position apart from Juniors. (However they can dance a Mascot position).
Spotters/Baton picker uppers - are not to be any of the dancers competing within the association. They must be adults.
One person from each troupe must sit and cound drops and do the timing on the competition days for their own troupe which will then be compared with a judge who is also doing this, if there happens to be a discrepancy then it is up to the judges and that person to agree to what penalties are allocated.
Drops - half a point deduction for all drops including uniform accessories.
Within Combination, if not enough equipment is set out on the dance floor 5 points will be deducted from the overall score.
Within Combination 80% of the routine must be using equipment.
Ages - Novice 6yrs and under, Dinkies 9yrs and under, Tinies 11yrs and under, Juniors 14yrs and under, Seniors open age, Combination open age. Junior Flag 13 and under, Senior Flag open age.
Sections - Baton and Pom for Novice, Dinky, Tiny, Junior and Senior sections
Flags - Junior and Senior
Combination

Numbers in sections - 4 dancers to dance (exceptions to be made on weekend away comps, as all troupes will be aware not all dancers can attend weekend away comps due to costs so this is why it is an exception in emergancies) - Comps at home will have points deducted for not having enough dancers.
5 dancers you can have a Leader (4 dancers + a Leader)
6 dancers you can have a Mascot (5 dancers + a Leader + a Mascot)
(You cannot have a Mascot without a Leader).
If less then 3 troupes enter a section (for example - Tiny baton) the section will be danced up to Junior baton as a ''B team''.
No jewellery or make-up - all dancers are forbidden to wear make-up during any section other than the combination. Jewellery must be removed or covered with a medical plaster. Only body bars and tongue pirercings are to be removed as they are hazzardous to the dancers performance. Wedding rings and engagement rings can be worn but covered. Tattoos are to be covered - points will be lost from the dress score if any of the above are showing.
Photos and videoing - only your own troupe can take photos of your troupe. Videoing is set to only one person from your troupe.
All rules are to be followed, anyone/troupe not doing so will not be part of the association.
